What is PPG?
PPG, also known as Paramotoring or Powered Paragliding, is a form of ultralight aviation where the pilot wears a motor on their back with a propeller which provides thrust to take off using a paraglider.

Is it safe?
YES it is safe! Once airborne, you have a giant Paraglider keeping you in the air. If you do have engine problems, you would just slowly float to the ground.

Should I buy gear before training?
Usually you would want to wait until training to purchase gear. There are a ton of different options and we can help you decide what is going to work best for you. Gear will take anywhere from 1 day to 3 weeks to get depending on what you choose.

Do I need a license?
Paramotors are regulated under FAR 103 which means no license, medical certificate, training, or registration is required. Proper training is needed to successfully and safely enjoy Paramotoring. Along with learning the physical skills required to fly a Paramotor, training will also include ground school, which covers understanding weather, regulations, airspace, gear knowledge, risks, etc.

How do I get started?
Getting started is simple! Just sign up for our basic training course, which covers all the basics you need to get off the ground. We can typically work around your schedule to get you as much training as possible in the least amount of days.

How long is training?
Training solely depends on the student and weather. Some students pick up on things faster than others so they may start flying sooner. Our goal is to have at least 25 flights and a PPG2 rating by the end of the training. Typically between 8 and 10 days is the average time it takes to complete this.
